General Duties: Harvesting duties, weeding, pruning, tieing, digging, planting, fertilizing, spraying, farm labour, cleaning, operation & maintenance of farm machinery, inspecting fruit, sorting & grading of fruit, packing, prepare fruit for market, crop maintenance, yard & farm maintenance, and all general farm duties. Report to and follow directions from the farm manager.
Fast paced work environment with tight deadlines, working outside in all weather conditions (standing, bending, lifting, plant, cultivate and harvest crops).
Skill Requirements: No education requirements, no experience necessary; training provided for ideal candidates, no language requirements
Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, heavy lifting at times, must be able to work individually and in a team environment
Work Site Conditions: Outdoors, hot/cold, rain or shine, dusty, the candidate must be willing to work in ALL weather conditions, and for extended times when required
Wage: $12.65 per hour / 40 hours per week minimum
